The CCTV training course
SecureNet Ghana runs a practical, workshop-based CCTV programme designed for complete beginners as well as working technicians who want to formalise their skills. Training is delivered by active field engineers and combines classroom theory with supervised hands-on installation on live equipment. By the end of the course, every participant can survey a site, plan a system, install and terminate cabling, mount and align cameras, configure a DVR or NVR, set up remote viewing, troubleshoot common faults and hand a finished system over to a client with confidence.
Analogue, HD and IP cameras: selection, placement and mounting.
Coaxial and UTP cabling, PoE, power supplies and safe termination.
Recording, storage planning, playback, backup and user management.
IP addressing, routers, port setup and mobile remote viewing.
Fault finding, maintenance routines and professional handover.
